Can I share a secret?
I haven't uploaded a new podcast in SIX weeks.
Here's the wildest part about it- I've been RECORDING podcasts that entire time, sometimes even 2 or 3 in a week, but I just could NOT get them edited.
Honestly, I thought it had only been 2-3 weeks, but when I logged in yesterday to check, the truth of how long it had ACTUALLY been was taring me right in the face.
Have you ever had an experience like this? Where you start growing quickly, and while you're still DOING the things on your to do list, you stop SHARING what you're doing so others can benefit from it as well?
I was so grateful God opened my eyes to what was happening,
because once I saw it, I knew exactly what to do.
Here are the 5 biblically backed M.O.V.E.S. that I made:
1. I MEDITATED- I paused, prayed, and asked God what else He wanted me to see. I asked Him for wisdom and guidance to move forward.
2. I OBEYED what He told me to do:
- I prepped my most recently recorded episode last night (because the edits needed were fresh in my mind so I knew it'd be the easiest)
- I blocked off my calendar tomorrow to batch edit a minimum of 4 additional episodes so I can get a month ahead, AND
- I reached out to someone who to take the editing completely off my plate in the near future.
3. I VERIFIED my approach: when our podcast hosting platform glitched when I tried to upload the edited episode- I didn't panic. I simply checked in again and asked God how He wanted me to pivot.
I then decided it to get it up on YouTube- then I closed my laptop, ready to try again later once I had more bandwidth to troubleshoot.
4. I ENDURED through struggles: today, I STILL couldn't get the episode to load. So I went ahead and got everything else prepped (graphics, show notes, YT descriptions, and this email!) and sent a ticket to the podcast host for support.
5. I SURRENDERED to the outcome: I have no idea when the episode will be up on our podcast, AND I trust it's all happening for God's good. (side note: this email is one of the "good" things that came from all the struggles I had)
